Jackel Porter was established in 1975. At the beginning, we started off with Cafe-Bar office coffee-dispensers and the Aqua-Dri water coolers. We managed to achieve to around three thousand customers during the first two years of operation, since we had a superb and well organized distribution net work in the major commercial areas. In 1982, we had successfully marketed our American-made water cooler and it had become the best selling product in Hong Kong. In 1985 we started to sell distilled water which was contract-packed by one of the bottlers. In view of the fact that our business was booming rapidly, the contract water bottler's production was unable to meet with our demands, we, therefore, decided to have our own water factory. In 1992, we invested HK$7.5 million to build a water plant in Tai Wai. The plant was designed and equipped by an American engineering company. All production equipments were made in the States and the installation was also conducted by American technicians. The plant was successfully inaugurated in June 1993.

With the most advanced distillation technology in Hong Kong, Aqua-Tek is processed in an enclosed environment which resembles natural water drops from a pollution and dust free surroundings.
